*bounces in* Hullo, everybody! I'm Pippi Longstocking, but I'm sure that you've heard of me, what with all the books and movies based on my adventures. *grins happily* Have any of you ever been on a ship? I grew up on a ship, you know, with my father Captain Longstocking. I'm sure someone here has to have heard of him. He's a cannibal king now, ( Read more... )

Hello, Pippi, and welcome! My typist just let out a muffled scream when she saw you were here. Probably because she's a Scandinavian, and you're the first other one she's seen here. And apparently also because she adores your books. In any case, nice to meet you! My name's Lily Potter and I'm a witch. Red-haired, hm? I'm a redhead, too, though you can't see it from my picture because it's not in colour. Come to think of it, there are a lot of redheads here - all the Weasleys, to start with.

I wouldn't say no to some pancakes, really!

*does a rather strange curtsy* Thank you, Ms. Lily! I'm glad to be here - this looks like a very fun place!

You're a witch? *eagerly* Do you fly on broomsticks and wear pointy hats?

It's good to know there are other red-heads around! I can't wait to meet them!

*flings some pancakes onto a plate and hands it to you* I've got some forks and knives around here somewhere . . . aha! *pulls them out of a drawer and hands them to you* ^_^

*peeks in gruffly* I'm a redhead, too. My name's Zara.

Oh, you're pretty and young and wonderful, and look how happy you are! *stares in fascination* Look at you...

Thank you! Pleased to meet you as well!

Yes, this indeed looks like a very fun place to be! ^_^

*flings some more pancakes onto a plate and hands it to you, as well as a fork and knife* ^_^ Would you like some syrup?

...pancakes. *makes noise of disgust in throat*

Well, welcome, I suppose. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. Everyone seems to.

*pokes Famine sharply* Be nice to the girl, Sable.

My apologies, Miss Longstocking. He seems to think he owns the world simply because he is an apocalyptic manifestation.

My name is Marcus Brutus, and I extend you my welcome. I hope you enjoy this community as much as I have.

Oh, that's perfectly fine! . . . apocolyptic manifestation? What's that?

Thank you! *smiles happily*

As far as my typist has explained, there are four of them - Death, War, Famine, and Pollution. They are the four horsemen (who now apparently ride motorcycles, the reason for which is completely beyond me) of the apocalypse. Their personalities have been derived from the novel Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. My typist recommends it highly.

My typist just started yelling things in Swedish. I have no idea what she's saying. I think it's something about how she thinks you're fantastic and also that she has to read your book for university this week, but don't quote me on that.

Welcome!

*giggle* What, exactly, is she yelling, dear Bahorel?

How should I know? I don't speak Swedish, you silly girl.
