Hello.

I have many names. You may know me most.. easily.. as Pestilence.

I was born at the evolution of the first bacterium.

I struck terror into the souls of many.

I retired in 1936. Penicillin is a bitch.

But I'm still around. (Especially in... less-developed countries.)

And I certainly still have fun.

...Well.

It's certainly interesting to meet the implacable adversary of the entire medical profession. Including, of course, myself.

Hello?

You may call it "interesting", indeed.

*unfriendly stare at Pestilence*

Greetings, sir, although I will be damned if I make you welcome.

...well. Fancy that.

Somewhat terrifying Good to see you again. Reminds me of the old days.

...I hope this doesn't mean you want your job back. Not happening.

Ah, the good old days, before those ridiculous humans decided to invent antibiotics.

Or even better, before germ theory!

Who says there CAN'T be five Horsemen?

*grins dryly* Indeed. Considering the loss of appetite often comes with illness, I was quite displeased when they found ways to cure it quickly.

...er. The Bible. But as long as you're not planning to get rid of Pollution, I'll put up with you.

It's not fair. Really.

Oh, no, Pollution's fine. Causes good breeding grounds for germs, you know. As far as the Bible... It could be a translation error? Maybe?

Don't even have to visit much, really.

You really should stop liking me, then.

Really.
