Hello.

I have many names. You may know me most.. easily.. as Pestilence.

I was born at the evolution of the first bacterium.

I struck terror into the souls of many.

I retired in 1936. Penicillin is a bitch.

But I'm still around. (Especially in... less-developed countries.)

And I certainly still have fun.

...well. Fancy that.

Somewhat terrifying Good to see you again. Reminds me of the old days.

...I hope this doesn't mean you want your job back. Not happening.

Ah, the good old days, before those ridiculous humans decided to invent antibiotics.

Or even better, before germ theory!

Who says there CAN'T be five Horsemen?

*grins dryly* Indeed. Considering the loss of appetite often comes with illness, I was quite displeased when they found ways to cure it quickly.

...er. The Bible. But as long as you're not planning to get rid of Pollution, I'll put up with you.

It's not fair. Really.

Oh, no, Pollution's fine. Causes good breeding grounds for germs, you know. As far as the Bible... It could be a translation error? Maybe?

Agreed.

Good. Glad we've got things clear on *that* front. And...maybe. *wry grin* I know it's hard to get rid of you, so I suppose we'll have to survive.

Or maybe, considering War, it was 'four horsemen, one horsewoman', but they left off the woman part because of those ridiculous sexist translators when the thing was written...

Mmm, there's an idea. *grin*
