Outside the mansion, a large brown and white hawk perches on a tree branch, looking around with mad eyes, eyes that looked like a flame burned orange behind them. This wasn't where he meant to land, he's certain, but he can't sort out just where he is. Even trying to is difficult. He doesn't like some of the presences that he's sure lurk in the ( Read more... )

Not far from the tree branch, is Galadriel, sitting about and pondering many things. She needs to talk to Maharet and Jaenelle once more, but she's not seen them as of yet.

Her mind is clouded, but even more so for the sudden arrival of an awesome presence.

She finds herself looking at the tree, discerning the hawk.

The hawk is watching her as well, such an odd presence to him. Not human, not a god, something with similarities to both but not quite. Strange.

His presence is odd to her too - powerful, but not fearsome, and she watches, peacefully, wondering, hoping, maybe, that it will come down.

He stretches his wings and glides down to a lower branch, still watching her, head cocked in curiosity.

We don't know how much of it Horus would feel, but there's a god-touched human walking towards the woods, the name of God in her thoughts, the touch of Kushiel in her heart.

Phedre knows nothing of the bad things that lurk, and she's off to pick some berries.

It isn't one he recognizes though, so he doesn't take much notice of it. Perhaps it's one of those new gods always springing up. He's curious enough though to watch her as she goes by, wondering what she's doing.

Well, she'll be entering the forest, then, off to pick as she usually does, but she needs to stray from her usual path, to find a new place to pick from.

Horus watches from a distance, though not making an attempt to conceal his presence.

And Robin will be actually climbing up this very tree. He needs to know how far this land is stretching out to, even if it's supposed to be like a snow globe, says Cal.

Horus watches the puck climb the tree, recognizing what he is even if not exactly that he is the Puck. He wonders a little why he's climbing the tree.

Robin will keep climbing, finding an odd sort of joy in the ascent, grinning to himself, even if there is a serious purpose to this. He'll stop on Horus' branch, though, and almost startle.

"Damn." It's impossible not to recognize the eyes.

What's with people and glowing eyes, these days?

The hawk ruffles his feathers, making an inquiring sound. The eyes might be recognizable, but the madness in them might not be.

And somewhere by the lake is Gwenevere, picking flowers and singing to herself.

If she looks up might notice the hawk then circling above her, looking down.

She will, at one point, and shield her eyes to see better. She'll smile, finding the bird beautiful and impressive.

He settles near the top of a nearby tree, looking back down at her in return.

And later in the evening, Pandora will be taking advantage of the darkness to fly, taking innocent pleasure in it.

A woman flying, now that's curious. She's not a god, either. He takes wing as well, rising well above the trees for safety in the darkness. His eyes glint with a faint orange light of their own in the darkness.

She'll notice the hawk as well, and feel the sentience above the forest of murmurs. She'll pull herself to a halt, levitating above the trees, to look at him, curiously.

The hawk lands at the top of a tall tree, looking back at her with his mad eyes.
