Outside the mansion, a large brown and white hawk perches on a tree branch, looking around with mad eyes, eyes that looked like a flame burned orange behind them. This wasn't where he meant to land, he's certain, but he can't sort out just where he is. Even trying to is difficult. He doesn't like some of the presences that he's sure lurk in the ( Read more... )

We don't know how much of it Horus would feel, but there's a god-touched human walking towards the woods, the name of God in her thoughts, the touch of Kushiel in her heart.

Phedre knows nothing of the bad things that lurk, and she's off to pick some berries.

It isn't one he recognizes though, so he doesn't take much notice of it. Perhaps it's one of those new gods always springing up. He's curious enough though to watch her as she goes by, wondering what she's doing.

Well, she'll be entering the forest, then, off to pick as she usually does, but she needs to stray from her usual path, to find a new place to pick from.

Horus watches from a distance, though not making an attempt to conceal his presence.

Phedre has not really any way of feeling him - she's not telepath - but she does feel that itch you get when you're watched, though, and she'll be treading warily in the forest.

She will, after a while, notice the continued presence, and pause, watching curiously the bird.

The bird watches her back, stretching his wings, before his attention wanders off to look for small animals in the undergrowth. He's hungry.

We have no idea if the crackplot is over or not, and if there are any. But anyway, she'll be there, and wandering off deeper in the woods, maybe even, er, going unwittingly in the direction of evil werewolves.

Horus won't be bothered where she's going, he hasn't poinpointed where the dark feeling is coming from and he doesn't know her. If the crackplot is still going on though, this is going to soon be one very unhappy hawk shaped god.
