Inspired by Set's being completely flat-out rejected by Ashley Raventon, Set's decided that the sexual tendencies of the community need to be shuffled around. So throughout the mansion there is a hot, dry, desert wind, blowing into each little nook and cranny to find out victims

typist: well, he's terribly flirtatious and physical, and even if he doesn't act on it, he's certainly attracted to most people he meets--and, were they willing, he probably would be, too. just because he doesn't push the issue doesn't mean he'd mind if it were pushed. ^_^;;;

A hot wind blows over Karla. She winces and puts up a shield until it passes, but the effects have already taken hold. For the first time since the age of fifteen, Karla is suddenly intrigued by the idea of sex, and determined to attract the first living being to cross her path.

Tom Jones is straight (no matter what Curio may think) and currently terrified of sex. He feels the wind and puts up a hand to protect himself from it. When it stops he is suddenly back to normal in regards to his feelings about sex, but quite switched around when it comes to who he wants to have sex with. But he doesn't notice at the moment. "Well," he says, completely oblivious, "That was some wind."

T: The entire Mansion is conspiring so that no one will ever believe Tom and Richard are straight, ever again. (Though Richard will be happy that Tom got his memory back, when he finds out...)

Typist: He's almost back to normal now! (Minus the whole suddenly being gay part.) And yes. It is a conspiracy. But Tom will resist! Kinda. Sorta. Hopefully.

*ever since that disaster with the forged items and Feanor, Ilmarinen has been keeping a low profile in the woods outside the mansion--even built himself a lodge and a rudimentary forge, the better to serve his own needs. however, even isolation can't protect a man from the wind--and therefore, Ilmarinen feels himself compelled to return to the mansion. he is inexplicably randy ... and, more inexplicably, he seems to have developed a desire for men*
