It's a lovely day, work on the cottage is going well, and Mordred has nothing better to do at the moment than wander out to the Mansion, check on Arthur's rosebushes, and bother people.

If you feel like being bothered, by all means get in his way.

[/sock] I admit, I am mostly posting to show off shiny new icon. ^___^ ...right. April Fool's, guys ( Read more... )

T: Shiny! And as she's working her way through all the Arthurian pups, apparently, have a Cimorene.

Cimorene is under a tree, reading a book and eating an apple. She has recently discovered that she can get more clothes out of the plothole, and is incredibly pleased to be out of her impractical gowns and into breeches and a shirt. Her long limbs are sprawled out now, equally long braids pinned up around her head, and she looks quite comfortable.

"Anything good?" he inquires, leaning around the tree.

She looks up with a wry smile. "Good poetry, but Aeneas isn't always the most sensible man. Heroes don't seem to be, though, on the whole."

She looks like she's trying to place him for a moment. "...I think we met before, but I don't remember your name."

"No, generally not. Occupational hazard." He grins. "Mordred. And you're the lady with the exceptionally dusty cave, yes?"

It will be a novel change to be the bothered rather than the botherer. Gareth is, rather like Mordred, just wandering, out of doors because the weather is so fine.

Which is, of course, an open invitation to get his hair tousled. "Hi."

Of course, and he doesn't complain (Though he does try and smooth it back from its new disheveled state to its previous one). "Hi! What are you doing?"

"Annoying you," cheerfully. "What are you doing?"

Typist: hay, funny coincidence, I decided I was bored with those icons so I got a couple of new ones, myself...

"They're still just roses, brother," he grumbles - and what's an Agravain, with fading bruises and his hunting gear, doing out here by the mansion? (Probably better not to ask.) "Haven't turned into anything more interesting lately."

"Yeah, well, as long as they don't turn into dead rosebushes." Mordred slants a look at him. "And what are you up to?"

Typist: Yours too! omg, i loooove Johnny Depp!!

"Be a bit more interesting, maybe." He stares balefully at the roses. "Hunting. Maybe. Looking for someone, at least--"

Lynet has been up at the Mansion for reasons of her own, as shown by the armful of bulky, paper-wrapped parcels she's carrying down the Mansion's front steps and out onto the grass (a route which takes her just by the rosebushes).

Mordred glances up. "Want a hand?"

"Oh- thank you," she says (must be the sunny spring weather, how else could someone manage to get a thank you out of the shrew?) and gratefully holds out one or two of the parcels to Mordred. There's not many of them, but they're a bit bulky. "It's just a few different dresses-- the weather's changing, and all I had was heavy, winter clothes. That Mansion place is good for some things, at least."

"Occasionally." He tucks one under his arm, balances the other. "On Thursdays, when the wind's in the right quarter."

Melchior's currently sprawled under a tree -- yes, he's also enjoying the lovely day, by means of reading a book. He's definitely free to be bothered, and would probably welcome it.
