Border Hassles
I had some trouble at the border. It took over an hour to cross. I suspect that it has something to do with driving a car with Montana plates, using a Maine drivers license and claiming to be an EFL teacher in Korea. 재미없죠.
I got my car back. It seems the problems with it and the time away from it have only made me like it more. I could not wait to get it back. I drove my parents' car to Great Falls (110 miles) and they drove my car up and we exchanged at the Great Falls Fuddruckers (a Montanan burger joint). The Nomad Speaks!
I am now at my brother (동생; D) and sister-in-law’s (재수씨; E) place. 재수씨 is pregnant and due this Sunday (although NO ONE expects it to come then.) When I am in Korea, D is about the only person I really miss, so when I came back I wanted to spend as much time as possible with him; but there were complications.

재일 늙은 소
학글로 쓰고 싶지만 할 말 없구나! 아무튼 그냥 지난 주말을 얘기할거다. 여친를 ('특곰'라고 기억나지?) 보러 토요일에 서울 에갔다. Valentine's day 때문이고 2월 14일에 항상 함께 하다. 작년 홍대에서 멕시코 음식을 먹고 2년전에 태극 푸켓섬에서 오토바이 타면서 구경핬다. 지난 주말에 그냥 남선 타워에 올라갔는데 가기전에 날씨는 전말 따뜻하지만 내려온때 주워졌네! 금요일에 떠난때 온도는 17도 여서 겨울 웃을 안 입였고 밖에 나간때 잡자기 주워졌어. 특곰이랑 가까이 걸어가는데 따뜻해지지 못 했다.

Translation
So, I translated this. Unlike the Grand Narrative (the smartest Korean blog, ever) or Korea Beat I am not going to add any cogent gems of insight. This is my first translation of an article and though it was not very difficult, it took longer than I expected. So, how did I do?

It seems facebook critical mass has hit. Although it has always been a hit with the kids, there was only one other person on the site from my high school when I joined. ㅈ is jealous of me.
For 설날 (the Korean version of Lunar New Year) she invited me to the apartment she shares with ㅈ's older sister. (Right now ㅈ's family is undergoing a lot of drama but none of it involves either me or her.)
