Is this a visitor's curse of some kind? It's a little strange. Not bad, I suppose, in fact I was asked for a hug twice when I went to get groceries today. Usually the reaction I get is quite the opposite. Random, but I'm not really complaining.

I've never stared at a piece of art longer than yesterday. I don't know, can you call something art if it seems to have a will of its own? I never really anticipated how I would react if someone I knew left the City. This must be what it feels like. Was this how she felt too? It's kind of ironic... she offered to help in case this ever happened, but she's the one who left.

Equivalence. Well… I think it’s something equal. Probably in force or a value of something. So I guess it’s a reaction to an action. If something happens, then there’s an equivalent to it. Maybe when you die, there’s occasionally an equivalent force that brings you back? I don’t really know how that works.

[The video feed flickers on to show a view of the sky. Birds sing, big white fluffy clouds pass, everything is serene. Except for the excessive coughing and occasional groaning in the background. First cake, then rain, and now... sheep. I have a feeling I'll be staying inside for a while.

If there's a punchline to this curse, I don't really get it. Lesson learned, though. I guess not all sheep like pancakes.
