Oh dear, Small Child in the Nexus at six o'clock. At least this one isn't unnerved by all the oddness, and is just sitting on one of the sofas.

She does look slightly unsettled by something, though. Her fingers keep running through a bit of her hair, and she's giving it a worried look

"There's nothing absolutely wrong with red hair. Did somebody tell you there was?"

"No, not really. But...There's not a lot of other people around with it." Which is said before she really figures out who she's talking with.

"...Oh." She's looking quite stunned and surprised now, thank you.

She briefly laughs at the girl's expression. "Don't worry about it. Where I was growing up, real redheads were not very common so I can understand why you're asking."

It's sort of like laughing at a cat. Same bit of glaring, before sitting up a little straighter and trying very hard not to look like she minds or cares about it.

"Yeah...Well...I wish that it was more common. There's plenty of people with brown and black hair, so why not red, too?"

"Of course not." But then, he's biased.

It seems that the longer she spends in the Nexus after that question, the more the Multiverse is determined to mess with how genetics and probability *really* work.

"R-right. I knew that. Just...Wanted to make sure everyone else agreed." She tries not to look like she's staring while she says that, and sound confident. Success in either is pretty well up in the air, though.

He doesn't mind. He's used to being stared at. Kinda comes with having naturally red hair in Japan.

Even in Persona!Japan, said color is still a bit on the rare side. Doesn't excuse the staring though, when she's been instructed specifically NOT to do just that, regardless of the situation.

"S-so...Do you know a lot of people with hair like that?"

"Nothin' at all. Anyone who's telling you that is just trying to make you feel bad and they're not worth your time."

Thank you for your timely intervention, non-redhead! She was getting very confused for a moment; the possibility of stumbling into a red hair club was starting to seem likely.

"I-I didn't think anyone like that would be." Still...

"So...You don't think it's a weird color?"

Faith crouches near the girl so she's closer to her eye-level and holds her shirt - which is red - out, a wry smile crossing her lips.

"It's one of my favorites. I don't think red hair would look good on me, but it looks real nice on people who have it."

There's a certain amount of pride in being able to conceal emotions...But in a case like this, that's too much for her to try. There's a very pleased smile on her face, which is slowly growing into a grin from the slight bit of praise.

"Th-thank you, Miss."

Igor appears for the lulz. He's curious as to why you shrank. "There is nothing at all wrong with red hair. Studies show it might be better for you." He leans forward in his chair. "Do you know me?"

"Better how?" She does look intrigued...And is showing absolutely no sign of recognition.

"I...I'm sorry, sir. I don't remember seeing you before. May I have the pleasure of a reintroduction?" Her father would be proud of that repetition. Minimal stumbling over that last word, too.

"I don't think so." Enzan ran a hand through his hair. "Mine used to be white."

No small amount of staring is going on when she hears that.

"White? H-how did...How did you DO that?" And a small part of her is wondering if she can duplicate it.

"I dyed it that way. He had to grin at that. "I had to get it cut short, though, so it grew out black."

"..." Now this? This is information that requires some careful thought put into it before application.

"...Sir, do you think that would be okay for a lady to do? Dye it, I mean?" She's trying to figure out whether or not that falls inside the limits of polite corporate society.
