Caverns and catacombs have always been a part of the Nexus, an entire underlayer, dark and dangerous.  Some of you have always been aware of them, some haven't.  The caves that lead to them are anywhere it's convenient to have one.

Today, they're alive with newcomers.  Scores, maybe hundreds of them, watching from the shadows; tall, lanky people

She's been sticking comparatively low to the ground since leaving Nur to his own devices. Occasional wingbeats to keep herself airborne. She may not realize she's in a darker part of the Nexus, or the dangers of such at the moment. She beats her wings once and lands on a pile of junk to perch on. "Feh. Fuckin' Epsilon wannabe."

Oh, Ara.

She's been seen! From inside the pile of junk (three used cars and an old empty phone booth), a long hand snaps out to grab her ankle. Then another, reaching for a wing.

For someone who comes from a war-ravaged New York City, you'd be surprised at the surprised reaction, "SHIT." she swears aloud. The wing snaps upward, evading the grab. Her ankle's not so lucky, as whoever's lunging for her's got her there.

But as far as she's concerned, they won't for long, as she lunges for that hand with her right hand. Cybernetic and metallic strength, ready to twist her ankle free by that thing's wrist.

It jerks hard, whatever it is's full weight trying to pull Ara INTO the topmost car, cybernetics, wings, and all.

Winston happens to be passing by a dark, open sewer grate and stops for a moment, thinking he's picked up another odd scent in this place of infinitely odd things. He peers down and notices several gleaming pairs of eyes...

"Hello? What are you doing down there?"

There's a sudden chatter of chirping founds, and a shooing gesture. Go away!

"Oh, I'm sorry. If you'd like to be left alone..." He backs up a few steps, not liking the look of the limbs he saw flailing about down there.

You're not food, fuzzy thing! Shoo.

Ooh, catacombs! Wonder enjoys exploring new places, and it's doubly fun if he finds a new playmate along the way.

Just inside, there's a friend, a tall, grinning young man.

Unintelligible, yet somehow inviting, chatter!

Oooh caves! Impulse skids to a halt and peeks in.

"Hello?" Bart says. "What're you doing in there?"
