Were they here before?
Caverns and catacombs have always been a part of the Nexus, an entire underlayer, dark and dangerous. Some of you have always been aware of them, some haven't. The caves that lead to them are anywhere it's convenient to have one.
Today, they're alive with newcomers. Scores, maybe hundreds of them, watching from the shadows; tall, lanky people with long-fingered hands and sharp faces, skin like slate and eyes like oil, and sharp white teeth that flash in wide and frequent grins. Waiting for anyone to stray their way.
