Caverns and catacombs have always been a part of the Nexus, an entire underlayer, dark and dangerous.  Some of you have always been aware of them, some haven't.  The caves that lead to them are anywhere it's convenient to have one.

Today, they're alive with newcomers.  Scores, maybe hundreds of them, watching from the shadows; tall, lanky people

She's been sticking comparatively low to the ground since leaving Nur to his own devices. Occasional wingbeats to keep herself airborne. She may not realize she's in a darker part of the Nexus, or the dangers of such at the moment. She beats her wings once and lands on a pile of junk to perch on. "Feh. Fuckin' Epsilon wannabe."

Oh, Ara.

She's been seen! From inside the pile of junk (three used cars and an old empty phone booth), a long hand snaps out to grab her ankle. Then another, reaching for a wing.

For someone who comes from a war-ravaged New York City, you'd be surprised at the surprised reaction, "SHIT." she swears aloud. The wing snaps upward, evading the grab. Her ankle's not so lucky, as whoever's lunging for her's got her there.

But as far as she's concerned, they won't for long, as she lunges for that hand with her right hand. Cybernetic and metallic strength, ready to twist her ankle free by that thing's wrist.

It jerks hard, whatever it is's full weight trying to pull Ara INTO the topmost car, cybernetics, wings, and all.

"Oh FUCK YOU." She gestures sharply with her left hand, guess what, chuckles? You're in a small space and she just sent a MASSIVE plume of fire your way.

Dude, that's harsh.

The sudden plume of light illuminates not one, but three faces looking up at her, and then there's a scream as the inside of the car ignites, and a scrambling to escape.

"Yeah, I'm fucking PISSED you little bitches!" She leaps off of the car and onto the phone booth, wings spread and ready to take off from her perch, "Go ahead, GIVE me a fuckin' excuse to take my shitty day out on you."

Only one escapes through the window they tried to drag her, beating frantically at the flames in its clothing. Panicked, it tries to reach into the car, to save its kin, but the flames are too hot.

Yeah, be glad you can't understand what he's saying.

Arabelle's a lot more aggressive in this timeline. She eyes the one who managed to escape for a moment, and takes to the air, launching a volley of flames around him as a warning shot, "Fuckin' asshat"

Let's just say he's lucky she doesn't have her damnable grenades.

He falls off the pile of junk, racing for an actual cave to escape her flamethrower.
