Sarah is in the Nexus again, but she doesn't look quite like herself. Perhaps it's the disheveled state of her hair and clothes, or that she's splattered with a slick black fluid

*Ah, fighting! A subject near and dear to Taron's heart!* Taron: The undead are particularily vulnerable to damage from a holy source. I would suggest perhaps tempering those knives in holy water, or perhaps engraving them with a symbol, if you've a knack for such things. However, it generally requires you're on good terms with God.
Taron: Should work as long as they've died once and not entirely come back, but I don't know the full subtext of the situation. Your best bet would be to exploit their weakpoint, then. Carry a watergun, or a water tank with a hose attached. If you can find a way to sheild yourself from their telekinesis, I would suggest doing so. Mental abilities can really cause havoc.
She nods, taking some mental notes. "Thank you, that's helpful." She sighs a little and pinches the bridge of her nose. "Their telekinetic powers are what I worry about most. It can be impossible to get near them if they're really trying."
"Fire..." her expression grows distant before she nods. "That might work, if they burned fast enough. They don't feel pain unless the alien itself is injured.
"And how are you, Alec? I hope the Inn is doing well." She tries to smile in a friendly, social sort of way.
"Flame throwers are a person defending against an army of zombie horde's best friend," he says with a grin, "And I know where to get some for you, if you need em."
"I'm doing all right. The Inn's weathered most of the damage with no harm done, but it has protections against these sorts of things."
A teenaged girl with wings and so much glitter on she could be a disco ball really isn't out of place in the Nexus. Trucy pauses at the question, and her usually perky, bouncy demeanor is toned down.
"Well, depends. Do you have any way to stop their telekinesis? How do they act? Slow and shambly, or fast and bity, Auntie Sarah?"
"No, not really. Daniel certainly doesn't, and he needs the most protection. They're not slow or fast, they move like humans, except when the levitate..." Wait a minute, wait a minute. Auntie Sarah?
Trucy thinks. "Do they have the same weaknesses as most humanoid things?" And then the winged girl blinks back.
... If Sarah looks really hard, she might think that Trucy looks a liiittle bit like Mel. "Um. Yeah. You used to b- oh. You're from the same 'verse where Mom and Dad haven't started to date yet, huh?" she looks down, a bit like a kicked puppy. "Sorry."
She shakes her head. "They don't feel pain. The bodies are just vessels. You have to get them in the head to kill them."
She peers at Trucy. Something is very familiar about this girl, and wondering about it is better than dwelling on the situation back home. "Do I know your parents, dear?" An improbable Nexus child, eh?
Sarah shakes her head. "I'm not any good with firearms, unfortunately. Zombies are dead people that are reanimated so they can move around. Some are dangerous because they can turn other people into zombies."
