Wow this is fascinating, I had no idea about all of this! Kudos to having managed to climb out of that hole and insisting until you found the right therapist and diagnosis! Are you on any meds right now?

I'm on Olazapine for the psychotic symptoms, and Buproprion and Venlafazine for depression.

I enjoyed it, but I felt like I wanted more detail about it. It also makes me sad that it can take SO LONG to get a correct diagnosis and treatment

I'm trying to keep it inbthe ballpark of 850 characters because people don't like to read long articles online. Originally, I was going to make it two parts, but apparently Medium doesn't like that. But I'll try to be more specific within those constraints. For the tech writing job being overwhelming, how about something like "I felt that I was working in the middle of quicksand with limited energy and motivation to deal with the job. The job hadn't changed. I had."
