Woke up at 7 AM. Fed the girls and myself. Now I’m going to nap.

Crud. Someone else bought the mixer. I should have bought it. I’ll keep combing eBay for another one. I bought another one. It was a little more expensive but had free shipping, so it’s about the same.

Got some Zara snuggles, which is good for what ails me. Had a nice nap.

I was looking at a book of poetry by someone who was with me in the writing group at my high school, and an idea for a poem is percolating in my head. I'll have to squeeze out time to write, but I have so much to do today. How do people who write creatively for a living get things done? Okay, ideas kept flowing and I have a draft that I like.

I found a German teacher who's available at a time that I'm free and who won't break the bank. So maybe I'll do it.

I bought a book on Germany and some German grammar and vocabulary books. The German books will take a while to get here because I bought them used.

I didn't get up as early as I had planned, but I was ready on time for Italian. (I shower and put on makeup to look okay on video.) I just saw a folding rowing machine that is like the one that I had in California. Hmm. Reasonable price for a rowing machine.

I had an impulse to cancel Italian, but I had no reason to do so. It went okay. My teacher is now out of COVID quarantine and is meeting his friends. He's sending good wishes for my mom.

I'm reading an interesting book called Get It Done. In it, the author talked about refining goals so that they're motivating. So my two goals are 1) to earn enough extra money to go to Italy and 2) transform my home into a cozy space.
