Another warm and sunny day reaching 24C.

A day in which I stubbed my little toe badly, and it bled a bit.

A day in which I was given some Indian food (takeaway) by a neighbour because it was not spicy enough for them.

Plus another generally relaxing day of doing little.

That kinda sums it up.

Most of the day was spent relaxing. I slept in as well.

However, I did pop into town to connect with my mate, Phil, former landlord of the Dover Castle Inn, Teynham.

I also posted two albums that I sold on eBay.

We had a few beers, chatted, and then he dropped me home.

Dinner was a large cod with chips from the local chip shop.

That was a long hard day. getting up at six, travelling to train to Ramsgate at seven, then a bus to Westwood Cross to do an eight-hour footfall count for eight hours. Nine in the morning till five in the afternoon with a half-hour break ( Read more... )

Not much to add. One of those usual days of listening to music, reading books, and enjoying the weather.

Lunch was cottage pie with a side salad.

However, the horrible hayfever is back with a vengance. I was alright yesterday but due to the slight difference in in the weather it is back.

Oh well, taken the antihistomines , so it shpuld go soon.

The morning up to around two was perfect sunbathing weather. And yes, I did quite a lot of sunbathing. It has now clouded over. We have reached a respectable 26C in my sweet spot ( Read more... )

Another fine sunny day.
Did a little sunbathing
Apart from sneezing hay
But I did some grazing on nuts and fruity stuff
That was quite enough.

Mostly sat around reading
Then, I spun some records
Back to more reading switching from book to book.
I have three on the go at the moment.
In fact, a good relaxing day.

Another sunny day but somewhat cooler than recently.
Temperature reached a miserly 17C.

I popped into town to do some food shopping, check the newsagent to see if the latest Wire is in, and have a pint of beer at my local.

A nice relaxing day in fact.
