It's been a year, now. I spent the weekend with my family and tried to ignore the irony of having a baby shower the day before the anniversary of my father's death. I officially own my home. The closing from hell lasted a few hours, but it is finally over. I got my keys about 6pm Friday. Spent a nice chunk of Saturday moving (almost didn't get the couch in the new place) and almost all of Sunday looking for curtains...I'm picky.
