Rare update
I guess a few things have happened in the past six months or so since my last real update.
I am in the final stages of buying a townhouse. The closing is June 6th. I can't wait to rip out the yard (currently full of weeds) and get my plants in the ground. I have a Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow plant that will make a beautiful entrance bush. I have many elephant ears, some periwinkles, mums, and others that I want to get out of their pots.
I bought a large painting of a lighthouse at night that is absolutely beautiful. It will go up soon after closing. I have so many plans. Eric is as calm as ever when it comes to things like this. He is patient to the extreme. I'm glad he will be here to help me.
Our three year anniversary is this sunday. I don't know what I would have done without him, especially over this past year.
I have a new job in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Academic Advising Center. I can't express how much stress has been lifted from my shoulders. I was absolutely amazed when my fingernails started growing again (habitual nail biter here).
My younger sister is pregnant. Her little boy is due at the end of July. Names are flying around, but I hope she uses some form of Jack after our dad. He would really have liked that, I think.
Ok, enough for this time, I think. Off to pack!
