My dad died last saturday night, the 16th, from his head injuries. He was 47 years old. The funeral was wednesday morning. The local American Legion honored him with a 21 gun salute and the playing of taps at his graveside. My dad was a good man and I will never forget him. I'll write more about him later.

My father was in a horrific accident early thursday morning. He is in a medically induced coma right now and will be in the hospital for months. I just got back in Gainesville after spend the past four days helping my family (and having them help me). He is stable for now. Will this day never end? I am dying to get home so I can take a Vicodin and sleep. I had surgery on Monday, was out Tuesday and Wednesday, came to work on Thursday and had to go home at noon because I was dizzy and throwing up, and am at work today.
