Someone I thought I knew once told me that only humans can defeat monsters.  That was a long time ago.  In the book, Frankenstein's monster killed himself after hurting the human who made him, killing his friends and family, framing someone else for it.  The monster's mate gets torn to pieces.

You can leave the apartment at night now. Happy hunting.

You can love a monster. You can hate one. That is how humans become monsters. They inspire the furthest extremities of poisonous emotion.

You only love them if you don't believe they're monsters in the first place. There has to be something there to love.

No. There has to be something you believe is there to love. There are no guarantees that it isn't illusion.

I know. That's why I said "believe" in the first place.

Huh?

Funny. I thought the "monster" in the story began as better person than the humans around him. Guess it shows who created the real monster, not Frankenstein alone.

Monsters make themselves.

They were all monsters. The Creature and the people.

Apparently the version of that novel is different in your world than it is in mine.

Oh, now you want to talk.

Your cry for attention could be heard from the island.

Well this is your lucky day. I don't want your attention anymore. You can feel free to ignore me from here on.

That's not how the book ends. You're thinking of the movie.

I know. I'm sorry.

No. The movie ends with villagers and fire. The book ends with the monster going off to commit suicide on the ice.

Private :: Unhackable

We should never have let Henry take Alucard's blood in the first place. It was stupid.

Everyone doesn't die, the monster isn't dead yet.

By the way, I hear Mickey's a druggie. What are you doing hanging around with him and thaking him for things.

Private :: Unhackable

Let? I don't think either of us let Henry do much.

darkest0knight August 31 2008, 22:15:17 UTC
Wait for it.

I didn't "hang around" him.

private :: unhackable

We didn't stop him either.
