Our local Borders is one of the ones going out of business so I went there to pick over the remains. It was pretty well raided out but I did find five volumes of the Fushigi Yuugi (15-yr-old schoolgirl is transported to magic version of ancient China, must go on quest) omnibus volumes which means 15 regular volumes, at prices that were a steal ( Read more... )

At least that seems to be the consensus of the commenters to the trailer - that this 2011 fantasy cdrama The Holy Pearl seems very similar. I have finished ep 1 of Wallflower and I am totally obsessed - it's my jdrama of the season. I never thought any live-action could get the quirky, funny, Gothic feel of the manga right but this did. This is about who I'd pick to play Sunako, Noi, and the four boys. In an ideal world with everyone available, ages magically matching up/being younger etc.
