Fantasy Casting - I cast my ideal Wallflower drama in Korea, Taiwan, and Japan

Now, I know the Wallflower jdrama is set and stone and hopefully will be decent. This isn't about that.

This is about who I'd pick to play Sunako, Noi, and the four boys. In an ideal world with everyone available, ages magically matching up/being younger etc.

For Korean, I would love to see Park Eun Bin as Sunako. She's pretty young, but I really like her and can totally imagine her going around kicking ass. *evil laugh*

But I actually stopped reading the manga...the part with the club people trying to sell a 15-year old really disturbed me... *is stupid like that*

oooh I love your picks for the jdrama sunako and kiyohei. I remember Yukie played an eccentric magician in Trick and I can see some similarities between that character and Sunako. I def like the idea of young Nagase as kiyohei especially since he's one of the few people I could buy as being ridiculously beautiful AND rowdy like Kiyohei was. That said, if I could pick any j actor i wanted for wallflower though I'd have Kobozuka Yosuke as Kiyohei and Rinko Kikuchi as Sunako (have no idea how those ages match up though lol) Just cause Yosuke would be a stronger actor I think, but really Nagase would my second choice. and Rinko cause she plays quiet, creepy and eccentric so very well

Yeah, she did 1990s dramas. I think most of my cast was biased that way because I prefer <2001 dramas to those that came after.

I can see Tamaki Hiroshi as Takenaga :)

Ooh, so Joo Ji Hoon went into the army? Was this to get away from the drug thing? I don't follow the Korean actors but I loved him in Mawang... can you update me?

Yes and yes. He got suspended sentence and went into the Army (I think actually he is going in the beginning of January). He shut down his website and fanclub etc etc :(

Realistically speaking, I think his career is dead which is such a ginormous waste I get pissed off just thinking of it.

If you want someone to be girly and in the same age bracket as Nagase etc i'm thinking Koichi from Kinki Kids would be your best bit. Before i knew anything about Johnnys i kept seeing magazine covers with him on the front and adamantly proclaiming he was a girl.
