I was actually left a little irritated at Kanan after it's all said and done. I understand WHY she did it, I just facepalm at the timing. He's just killed 1000 people to get to her and then she goes and stabs herself in front of him. And no matter how screwed up she would have been afterwards Hakkai would have dealt with it. I'm not sure she would have had monster offsprings so much as she would have had a half-breed like Gojyo. There's no evidence that human/demon unions ever form monsters, no matter what Kanan might have said or believed (though she's so screwed up in the head by then who can blame what she thinks
