Once again, a week long, Preliminary experiment gives blank results. And I came in on the weekend for this thing. It makes me want to scream and bang my head into the wall. ARGH! I haven't even been able to start a REAL experiment yet, because everything leading up to it fails in one way or another.

Frijolito seems to be feeling better. He had me pretty worried on Monday, I nearly took him to the vet. He looked so miserable -goopy eyed, slightly dehydrated, sneezy, coughing. I called the Vet's office, hoping to make an appointment for Tuesday, but they had already closed. This was fortunate because yesterday he suddenly looked better. ( Read more... )

Frijolito has an upper respiratory infection that I am trying to treat at home. It really pains me to see him not feeling well. He loves to held and "consoled," but really resists "nursing" care ...puts up a fight to have his temperature taken or his face cleaned up. I tried to go to work and was sent home because I couldn't hold myself together. I'm a mess. I miss my Pasita and can't believe she's gone. I keep feeling like this was my fault. If i hadn't stressed her by trying to examine her, if we'd brought her to the vet sooner, etc. Both Ryan and I noticed that she seemed a little "off" the last few ( Read more... )

Friday morning, Pamina was put down at the age of 14.5 years. It was time and we knew it was coming. But I'm completely heartbroken and miss her so much.... Everything makes me think of her
