[ from here ]Shion continued to move down the hall, her eyes peering around at every corner she could see. Sadly, she was yet to see these so called “monsters”, but she knew that could always happen later, too

Max slipped out into the larger corridor, eyes scanning the darkness intently for anything that would pose a threat. Seeing nothing, she hesitated in this hall, shifting restlessly from foot to foot.
This was where she'd met Thursday and Renji the night before, but there was no sight of them yet. Settling back against a wall to wait, she kept her eyes on the doorways, watching for her companions or anything else that might happen along.
"Well enough," Max replied with a grin, remaining where she was. "I found out I apparently have a doppleganger or a twin in another world, though, as odd as that sounds. And I met a pirate. What about you?"
"Well enough." Thursday took up a position next to Max. "I managed to get a hold of the one of the group who found that shield a few nights ago - he says he'll talk to the others about working with us. That's about it, really - your day sounds more interesting than mine."
She leaned against the wall, switching off the torch to conserve the batteries. "The twin thing isn't entirely unheard of in my world, actually - my dad occasionally travels to alternate worlds - but he's one of the only ones who can, and he can't talk about it much. How'd you find out about yours?"
Shana slipped out into the adjoining corridor, pausing for only the faintest of moments to get her bearings before continuing onwards, her expression determined and her stride purposeful.
But now that she thought about it, where was Zelgadis? She didn't know his room number, and they hadn't agreed on a meeting place... Well, they hadn't actually agreed to meet at all, but it was natural for Allies of Justice to stick together!
...And hopefully he wasn't mad at her about what happened in the Sun Room.
Amelia was far too psyched over the thought of finally getting to fight evil tonight to even consider staying put and waiting to see if he would come to her. Yes, now was a time for action! She was sure to find him if she just wandered around the patient blocks a little.
Onward she went, through the door at the end of the hall.
Usagi's heart raced as she turned the corner, a large smile creeping across her face. Ami was only a few feet away!
The familiar hallway was darker than usual, there was nobody else in it. Usagi looked to her left, then her right, but still saw no one, and heard no greeting.
Maybe she's just late... Ami had been late another time they were supposed to meet, time moved so strangely in Landel's that it was easy to take a nap and miss a day. Usagi leaned against a wall, ready to wait as long as she had to, but she couldn't get the fear out of her mind that Ami might not show up at all... because something might have happened to her.
Falis lead Namine over to where Usagi was standing, obviously waiting for Ami. The bounty hunter was curious where Ami had been as well, especially since the blue-haired girl had become her stand-in for Dominikov being all smart like she was. She also wanted to know if Ami had found one of the mikrobscobes so she could look at the blood and see if the cell thingies were arming themselves. One could never be too cautious when it came to possible coups.
"Oi! Usagi!" Falis jerked a thumb at Namine. "This is Namine. We're heading to the basement to go find some vampires. Wanna come along? I've got stakes!"
Naminé did her very, very best not to laugh at how Alita introduced her to the other blond. She sort of failed, a half-smile forming on her lips as she stretched her good hand forward in a greeting.
"Hello, Usagi," She warmly greeted the other girl, trying to hide her injured hand behind her back. She didn't want to worry Usagi and all, if she was indeed coming with them to the basement.
Ami spotted the blonde tresses of her best friend almost immediately, and was relieved to see that she was with Falis and another girl.
"I'm sorry I'm late," she said, blushing slighly as her voice came out hoarse. "I didn't mean to make you worry Usa-chan - I've had influenza." She nodded a greeting to the other two girls. "Alita-san, I'm glad to see you."
Hmm. Dark, concrete. Boring. Okay, so not much different from the Facility.
Elle swept her flashlight around a few times, but didn't see anything other than some patients. Really shoddy, letting them wander around at night. It was so much more entertaining when they couldn't move and you knew right where to find them.
There was only one door in this hallway, so Elle made her way towards it.

Thursday kept her torch trained on the ground as she stepped around the corner, smiling as she spotted Max just down the hall.
"Evening," she called as she neared. "Dayshift go all right for you?"
