The lockdown had been interesting. The fact that the staff had enough power to put down a rebellion that quickly and then lock people into their rooms just as fast was something of a feat to be admired. Their efficiency would have been much more impressive if Okita had been on the other side of it, however. As it stood, he had to keep his

Oh man.
Before he could get an answer from his roommate, the intercom spoke up, saying the adults would be showering and kids would be in the sun room-- and indeed, a few seconds later, a nurse came by and herded him along to the showers, where he now stood, blushing furiously and trying his best to retain his clothing. He wasn't used to being naked in the presence of one beautiful woman-- how could not be embarrassed when in front of far too many guys? (It didn't help that they were lacking in clothing as well. Ack!)
When the nurses finally got his clothing off him, he went as quickly as he could to the nearest showerhead and stared steadfastly at the wall as he began to scrub. Surely this alone was worse than giant rats; they shouldn't need to brainwash and experiment, not when they could just embarrass the patients to death...

Needless to say, William was disappointed. He had barely even begun to play with Armand's mind before the intercom sounded and his nurse had entered the room. Far more damage could have been inflicted, that was for certain, and because he was unable to do more the doctor was left to plot for when dinner came. This experiment was far from over.
Though it would have been more interesting if Wesker had not been so reluctant to even make a prediction of the possible outcomes. William sighed and shook his head as he stepped out of his clothes and headed for a shower. As luck would have it, it seemed the man next to him was a little shy, William was tempted to roll his eyes.
"Good morning." The day would not be complete if he didn't poke and prod mercilessly at someone.

"Not all that good," was his uncomfortable reply.

It took everything in the doctor not to start laughing right then and there. Personal experience dictated that the subjects did not enjoy humiliation and that would have cut the game short--a very bad result. Though, it didn't mean it wasn't difficult for him, his reaction was perfect.

Kenren sighed and stretched when the nurses came to escort them to the showers. Who the hell needed an escort to the showers? The controls set upon them were grating on him more and more. At least he wasn't one of the ones stuck with the orderlies breathing down their necks. It wasn't like they were even attractive. because he wouldn't have minded so much then.
He grabbed a shower and leaned back against the wall, letting the spray wash away the dirt and grit of the last few nights.

Captain Jack was rather bemused by the whole riot thing he'd missed; he chatted happily to the orderlies as they headed to the showers, trying to get them to gossip a bit about it. No dice. They must have gotten a serious ass-chewing or something over it.
He did a quick look-around when he got to the shower room and immediately spotted Kenren, who he'd passed such a pleasant night with recently. He shucked off his clothes and sauntered over, giving the man a cheerful smile. "Good morning," he said, taking the shower next to him, and letting his gaze linger appreciatively as he did so.

"Morning," he replied. "I see you escaped the chaos."

He turned his shower on and stepped beneath it, enjoying the feeling of both warm water and being appreciated. "I'm guessing that you stayed out of it too, since you seem rather un-drugged?" That was really for the best, in his opinion. Maybe a riot could have swung things, but it sounded like a poorly-planned waste of time.

The clothes weren't so bad, even if they were lighter than he generally preferred, a little like ship's knits. But going naked in a crowd set off enough old issues that he was fairly sure his face was locked in its absolutely most unpleasant and unfriendly state by the time he'd stripped down and stepped into the room.
Pick a spot close to others, or far away? He'd stick out no matter which he chose. Finally, he decided on simply picking a random spot (though not so random, as he wasn't standing too close to 'John') and began washing off his body in a brisk, businesslike manner, hoping no one would be stupid enough to interrupt or make any comments.

Still shameless about his 'body' as always, Xelloss found himself a nice spot and started with the shampooing. For some reason, he really liked shampooing his hair. It was a pleasant sensation overall. Not quite to match eating, but close. He did wish they had baths of some sort here, since he'd never actually had one in a human body and was curious. But the showers were fine.
He hummed a little as he cleaned.

Though he was healing faster than was normal, thanks to this place, Farfarello's torso and face were still a bit of a technicolour masterpiece today. His broken ribs were an especially lurid display of purple and black, but there were also scattered bruises all over the rest of his chest and back as well as even his arms and legs. The cuts on his forehead and shin were closed up now and healing cleanly, but they were still quite red and surrounded by their own sets of green and yellow bruises.

Xelloss fiddled cooperatively with the water controls next to his own. The sadistic urge to turn it hot as possible was stymied by the fact that the man's problem in the first place apparently stemmed from his inability to feel it well. Besides, so long as Xelloss wanted to play up his own innocence, seeing how long it took a fellow patient to notice he was cooking would probably not go over well.
After running a hand under it, he said, "That should be fine!" It was approximately the same temperature as Xelloss's own water. He went back to his own small bathing area and returned to lathering things, working on a leg at the moment. Considering that they only washed these bodies once a week, it seemed like a good idea to get as much out of the shower session as he could. It was enjoyable, anyway.

Nodding in Xelloss' direction, Farfarello muttered a vague, "Thanks," then stepped under the water. While he couldn't discern that the water was anything other than "not cold," he could feel his muscles responding to the heat and relaxing. Good. He was still stiff in places from the bruises and otherwise abused muscles. "Name's Farfarello. You?"

Edgeworth couldn't deny how much he wanted - no, needed - a shower, but he also knew that it was going to hurt. He gritted his teeth as his nurse carefully removed the bandages that covered the wounds he'd gotten the night before - that alone hurt.
He took a towel and moved to an open spot, turning on the tap, then wincing as the hot water hit him. "Bloody hell, that smarts," he muttered, reaching for the nearest bottle of shampoo. Edgeworth carefully washed his hair, then tilted his head back, frowning as hints of blood mixed with the lather that was running down the drain.

His good mood at not having to deal with a roommate (yet) was dimmed somewhat by the information that he was being taken to public showers. Public? Honestly. If they could afford to pay that many nurses they ought to be able to afford curtains or something.
At least he had nothing to be ashamed of. He'd kept his body in peak condition, and he was fitter now than he'd been at age 21, if he did say so himself. The urge to protest was still there, but he pushed it down in favor of simply treating this as a perfectly normal activity (don't they bathe like this in prisons?), one shared by everyone else in the building.
Seeing one of the men dealing with some uncomfortable looking wounds, he couldn't help heading over to the shower next to him, to ask about it. "I hope you don't mind my being a busybody, but I'm a bit new here still. Whatever here gave you those awful injuries?"
Reply
Edgeworth startled slightly at the comment, but quickly shook it off. "It's all right. What's your name, by the way? I'm Miles Edgeworth."
He paused, reaching for the soap and wincing again as he pulled the stitches in his shoulder slightly. "I don't know how much you know about what goes on here at night, but I'm not one to sugarcoat things. Something attacked me last night - a monster in the form of a little girl. A colleague of mine and I were both hurt."
Reply
He started to scrub his own upper body, politely not gawking at his showering companion although he did eye the wounds a bit still. "I see. Something in the shape of a little girl did all of that? I had been aware that there were monsters at night in this place, but that's... well, alarming, to say the least."
There were plenty of hostile, and even a few moderately formidable ghosts who took on the form of children. It seemed the monsters here would be not unlike ghosts in that sense, at least: assume it is hostile and dangerous until proven otherwise.
Then again, like ghosts, perhaps some of them could be reasoned with. "How did a creature shaped like a little girl do something like that? Was she armed?"
