Standing at the far end of the room, Cloud had that usual anti-social air about him. It wasn't that he was activly trying to keep people away, it was just how he acted.

He didn't really have a reason to be here, but after hearing what the woman had done to Sephiroth he had to meet with her, and this confrence seemed like to bet way to find her.

Much like Cloud, Vincent remained in the back; waiting and listening, but also keeping out of the attention of others. Socializing on a grand scale was never his strong suit, and here, it didn't matter. He wanted information, and something was much better than nothing.

That message... where those people serious? Or was it simply their captors dangling another piece of meat over an empty dish?

Either way, working together had been the best solution in the past, and this wasn't any different. He may not have been with ShinRa anymore, but he still remained a Turk through and through. And Turks were there to solve mysteries.

Save everyone and fade away with a cleared conscience. That was his purpose.

The keys were here. Even his Knight. His actions with Sephiroth were unexpected, but not unwelcome. Aya was fast becoming one of the more important keys in this city. And she was his elevator ( ... )

Lucrecia hadn't really been paying attention to anything lately, let alone the network, so to actually go on and see that someone was planning a conference of sorts had her surprised. She'd apparently missed an earlier one, so she figured she may as well go to this one.

It would be difficult getting around, but she'd started to figure out how to hide from the crabs. She was slow getting there, but eventually she did make it. Staying close to the far side, she ended up close to a man (?) in a cape suit... thing...

She glanced at him, suddenly wishing she'd come with Vincent, but she had no idea where he was. So she settled in place and waited.

He recognized the woman that entered. His eyes went from her to the man that was her companion, the one in the red cloak. "It is good that you have come out to see this," he told her. "This may be the beginning of something bigger than each of us."

Lucrecia hadn't expected to be addressed by anyone, let alone the cloaked figure next to her and it was starting to make her a little nervous, though she tried not to show it.

She was entirely unsure how to respond to ... him/her/it. The voice was male, though, so that seemed to assure her that her companion was male... though whether this was good or bad remained to be seen.

"This place has more things to discover than one person alone can research," she replied softly, trying not to show how uncertain she was and failing... hard. "All we can do is try to work together. With any luck at all, we'll manage to survive together."

Conferences and meetings were, by and large, things that Reno had gotten more than used to over his years with ShinRa. He didn't necessarily always enjoy them, but that was mostly due to the fact that they were boring as all fuck when you were just there to lurk around and look vaguely menacing (which Rude was really better at anyway).

This on the other hand, was anything but. He wasn't quite sure exactly what was going to be discussed but anything was better than nothing here. Listen, watch and learn, that was the way of the Turks and Reno had every intention of living up to that.

To most people, though, he'd simply look like yet another person joining those hanging around around on the edges of the crowd. Of course, as always, there was more to him then it seemed at first glance, but it would take a sharp eye indeed to pick that out.

"I thought work wasn't your thing?" A familiar, monotone voice chimed in, not too far off from where the younger Turk was situated.

Sure, the redhead was mostly an annoyance, but he'd grown to learn from experience from his time in AVALANCHE. The other man was sharp, and sharp minds gathering and working together seemed to be the entire point of this gathering. They all wanted to escape, to go home, even if some couldn't.

"Try to pay attention for once."

"'F I didn't work Tseng woulda kicked me out years ago," Reno countered with a grin.

True, he spent far more time trying to find new and creative ways to get out of work than any other Turk currently on the roster (and possibly in the history of the Turks), but when it came down to it he was quite willing to do the work that was asked of him. Hell, sometimes he even enjoyed it.

The comment about paying attention, on the hand was left ignored. He paid a lot more attention than people generally figured and he liked it best that way. Not to mention he wouldn't be here if he hadn't intended to at listen somewhat.

Vincent shook his head, though clearly amused by the other man. "If you didn't work, we wouldn't have had such a great workout regimen chasing your asses all over the Planet."

His own work had only led to trouble, after all. He hadn't officially resigned, but he'd been gone, dead, and asleep for so long that it had been a given at this point. He could have still considered himself a Turk, though it was best not to.

"I'm only here to observe. I no longer have any interest in you Turks."

A dead end in the laboratory. It frustrated Luis so much all he wanted to do was lock himself in there even deeper until he finally got it to work. He was so irritatingly stuck, though, he figured it might be more productive to take a day off.

So he came to the meeting. He stood by himself off to the side, hands shoved in his pockets and a gun hidden inside his coat in case he needed it. He had a tendency to isolate himself from the larger community so he could use the news update. Besides, Aya was a good looking woman. Nothing got his brain working like a good looking woman.

Haruka wasn't much of a team player. Sure, she was a sailor senshi and worked with the others but that was her duty. If she had it her way it would just be herself and Michiru. It was a stretch to work with the inner senshi sometimes and the outer senshi she considered more like family than a team. Still, this was a new place with new rules and new limits on her abilities to protect the earth and by proxy its people ( ... )

Luis was distracted from rather dark thought processes by the woman who came over and sat down nearby him. His eyebrows cocked with interest and he had a look over her.

"Hey, señorita," he drawled, and slid along the wall until he was standing a little closer. "You come to solve the mystery too?"

Haruka wasn't used to guys checking her out so if she felt the gentleman next to her giving her an eye she didn't mention it. She did however shoot him a glance when he addressed her, noticing that he had slid a little closer. 'This is why you bring Michiru with you,' she thought to herself with a resigned sigh.

"I'm not sure if I'll solve it, but I would like to know a little more about what's been going on," Haruka replied.
