Haruka wasn't much of a team player. Sure, she was a sailor senshi and worked with the others but that was her duty. If she had it her way it would just be herself and Michiru. It was a stretch to work with the inner senshi sometimes and the outer senshi she considered more like family than a team. Still, this was a new place with new rules and new limits on her abilities to protect the earth and by proxy its people.

She'd been keeping an eye and ear on the network and the talk around town. She was still new by most people's standards and barely new anyone by name here.

Which made attending this meeting both important and a little awkward. Haruka lacked the social ease that her girlfriend seemed to possess sometimes. She walked in, dressed in rather casual clothes. Her hair was tousled showing obvious signs of having just driven her motorcycle. She gave a short nod to the man leaning next to the nearby wall before pulling up a chair and plopping down into it. She wasn't sure how much she could contribute to this meeting but at least she hoped she'd learn a little something.

Luis was distracted from rather dark thought processes by the woman who came over and sat down nearby him. His eyebrows cocked with interest and he had a look over her.

"Hey, señorita," he drawled, and slid along the wall until he was standing a little closer. "You come to solve the mystery too?"

Haruka wasn't used to guys checking her out so if she felt the gentleman next to her giving her an eye she didn't mention it. She did however shoot him a glance when he addressed her, noticing that he had slid a little closer. 'This is why you bring Michiru with you,' she thought to herself with a resigned sigh.

"I'm not sure if I'll solve it, but I would like to know a little more about what's been going on," Haruka replied.

"I haven't paid much attention. I hope they have a sheet of notes or at least put it in simple terms," Luis said with a shrug, still checking her out out of the corner of her eye. He wasn't exactly subtle about it, but he wasn't subtle about most things.

"So, I don't think we've met, sí? Me llamo Luis Sera. How long have you been here?"

Haruka bit back a laugh, "I suppose a memo would be handy." She finally looked up at the man, she could tell from his look that this was going to be a difficult conversation...this seemed like the type of guy she wasn't known to get along with. It was amusing in a way because someone else might have pointed out that he was just as bad of a flirt as she herself.

She crossed her arms and turned her attention away again, still wishing she had brought Michiru...but then this man might be flirting with her instead and that would just be bad for everyone involved. "I'm pretty new so it's not surprising. I'm Haruka Tenoh, I've only been here about a month."

"Yo tambien... been about a month and a half, I think," he replied casually, crossing his arms. "Not that I've been keeping track all that well. I'm the preoccupied type, I guess you could say."

He shoved his hands in his pockets and gave Haruka one last look over, then turned his eyes to the front of the room. "Of course no matter how much they answer I'll always be able to come up with more questions. Some people are stuck being that type too."

She nodded, she could relate to that in a way. It wasn't so much that she was preoccupied though as the fact that so much had gone on since she got here it hardly seemed like it had only been about a month.

"I've gathered that much, even the people who have been here for awhile seem to have just as many questions as those of us who wind up here later," she didn't like that...she got the feeling some progress had been made but not a lot. There was also the fact that they seemed to be getting a lot of curve balls lately as well. She sighed, "I don't much care for mysteries."

"I could say I don't either, but it'd be a lie. Mysteries are kind of my job," he replied with a shrug and a shake of his head.

Then he smiled and eyed Haruka sidelong again, mentally flipping on the "charm" switch. "So what kind of job do you have? If I had to guess I'd say a model, but what do I know, eh?"

"Sounds like a fun job," Haruka replied, partially sarcastic, especially since by his tone of voice it sounded like he didn't much care for them.

Haruka shot him a look at his next line, as if to say 'you're joking right.' Instead she merely corrected him, "Racer, actually."
