Fundraising update (Shameless Plug)
I'm at 42%! That's fantastic, but I still need more help. (Yeah, yeah...I can hear the jokes from here.)
I figured out last night that if I got $25 from everyone on my Facebook friends list, I would wind up way over the required $1800.

Friday night, was joined by several other BSG fans for the series finale. Beautiful wrapup to the series, concentrating far more on the characters (which is really what the show was about) rather than the deus ex machina that drives their (our?) lives.

I just got off a conference call. The temp industry in general is doing so poorly that my employer has decided - as many others have - to cut costs. In the interest of saving as many jobs as possible, their decision was to reduce pay for everyone receiving over $40K/year by 5 ( Read more... ) -

Tonight is the "Last Frakkin' Special" and Friday night is the series finale. Is anyone interested in getting together on Friday night and geeking out with us?
I'm sure pizza and beverages could be arranged fairly simply, more could be done with some small effort. -

By the way, whoever got me interested in OOTS, I'd like to have a little talk with you regarding the immense amount of timesuck that's occured in the last few days. Implements of minor destruction will probably be involved, as well. -
Question: What kind of edge play have you engaged in? (my answer)
My last post was actually a call out to the person who had asked me this as a Month of Questions comment, but I got a lot of responses, most of them defining edge play as acts which push your personal limits.
Some people would consider getting married or having a kid edgy. But that's not what you were asking about, was it?
