(See? I told you I'd get an icon for this.)
I sent out an email flood last night and several people stepped up right away. I'm actually at (drum roll, please) 35% of my fundraising goal.
This weekend, I'm planning on walking about 35% of the total distance, too. The goal is to do a 9 mile walk, hopefully on Saturday morning, since the weather has decided that "oh, no, we can't have too much of that lovely warm weather even though the calendar says it's Spring now."
Things I need to remember:
Dress in layers Gloves are my friends and most of all - I need to stretch before and after walking for more than just a few secondsThat last one is courtesy of the very kind doctor who has given me two chiropractic adjustments in as many weeks, 'cuz I was dumb.
I thought I saw a couple other people on my flist who were planning to get out and about this weekend. Who else is walking and wants company?
