Interesting! Kind of weird, though. I don’t know if this is true or not, but I recently read that Australia has become more conservative when it comes to censorship of content that might be considered offensive-maybe it has to do with that?
Thanks very much for your thoughts on Parade’s End, both series and novels. I don’t know if I’ll ever get the time to read them, so it’s really interesting to see where they differ and where they’re the same.
Elementary has this weird quality for me: I’m not really loving it or anything, but I do look forward to it each week. I think it would be a very amusing comedy! :) And I’m going to watch them no matter what, but I don’t think I’d be watching it anymore if it weren’t, you know, Holmes and Watson.
