recently went through a box of old photos and am impressed with how good things were. how much i had, how healthy i was, how great life was. it inspired me to work out again, and i'm slowly getting into better shape ( Read more... ) -
Looking back
I realize how oblivious I was to the severety of my mother's planned heart surgery and how self consumed I was with my own situation. I moved here scarcely two months before her surgery and consistently put in nine hour days at work followed by stints at the gym and weekends at Johnny's in Austin ( Read more... ) -

So someone who knew me then remembered I kept a livejournal and looked me up. Its
been a while since I have posted but still recently enough to place me in texas and find me on the world wide web.
Wow. I guess now its time to check in, say hi, catch up on all of your posts,and eventually record an update of where I am these days.

My relationship with Johnny has grown significantly since I moved here, but I might be killing it now. He's happy with the way things are and from what I can tell, he is happy touching base on the phone a few times a day, without actually having a conversation and then seeing me just on weekends ( Read more... ) -

first night
tonight's my first back night in sa, my first night in my parent's new house. the floors are still not done, so the house is still vacant. we have all utilities in place, but i'm choosing to sleep with lucy on the couch in the garage surrounded by boxes and stored furniture, rather than alone in the vacant dusty house ( Read more... ) -
