The town I'm from is underwater, like New Orleans.. this is where I grew up from age 5-17. Most of the people in my life live there, I've been texting back and forth all morning with friends and family. I'm in a habit of checking CNN.com each night right before I go to bed. But the main headline I saw just now caused my jaw to drop. How horribly sad.. Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter everyone knows and loves, has died.. :(http://www.cnn.com/2006/

This morning just before 3:00 AM, I was abruptly woken by a super intense stinging pain on the back of my arm, a few inches up from my elbow. The pain continued to escalate so I jerked my arm away from where it was near the pillows and sat up to turn on the lamp and look. Well, this is it. Today is my last day before vacation. HOPEFULLY, if all goes well, I'll be leaving on my cruise with my parents on Sunday. Tomorrow we leave for Long Beach, bright and early. Our ship is supposed to set sail on Sunday, Fathers Day. Its Carnival Cruise (Pride) to Mexico, and we'll be back on Sunday the 26th ( Read more... )
