WOW!!
My old LJ!! I can't believe it! Somehow, over the past several years, I managed to forget this blog even existed. I only found it by accident today because I was looking for Rottie. See, this morning I saw someone on plurk mention seeing blue man group. I got to talking to him and feeling nostalgic, so at lunch time today I got on google and was trying to figure out what happened to everyone. Since BMG took down our message board, they really split up the community. And Blue Man Library is long gone since Rottie went on to work for them. Conflict of interest, I would assume.
Anyway, in the midst of all my google searching, I somehow ended up linking back to this blog. I completely forgot it was even out there! I guess I thought all those years of fan meets and uberschall and Cyniffer and trips to Luxor/Chicago/etc were lost when they took down the message board. Oh, and webshots also went away so every picture I ever took from those years is gone as well. I thought I had nothing left but vague memories, and certainly nothing tangible. (As tangible as a blog can be, that is.)
I'm completely blown away by the rediscovery of this journal, and more excited than I can say. I'm going back and reading it from the very beginning and having a great time. The cool thing is, at the beginning of January I was thinking I wanted to find some kind of resolution or something to do, but I couldn't think of what it could be. Finding this journal again shows me HOW important it is to blog, because of how much it means to me to find this now.
I'm not even going to try to recap the last several years since I posted in this. But I'm going to try to make an effort to post at least once a day from now on. Even if its just a brief sentence or two. I see I was doing that before, and even those posts are cool to look back on. So, now I'm going to get into the habit once again. :)
I really need to track down Jen and Rottie and all those guys. I miss them. <3
