[Post-Promised day finds Edward in the hospital. He didn't get the chance to escape, unfortunately. He's in a double room, but not with Al because he doesn't need to be in intensive care. [Ed is out in the dark, hanging his and Winry's laundry on the line. Den is lying out there keeping watch. He shivers in the chill of a nice spring night.]

[Winry has gone to sleep and Ed has stepped out into the hallway, and there goes the breathing and he is pacing back and forth, his automail hand in his hair and his cast swinging at his side.]

Fuck fuck fuck....this is bad...really...really bad.

With a brand new coat on his shoulders and winter gloves, as well as a scarf around his neck, going outside seems like nothing at all, and while Edward would like to avoid it for sometime considering his adventures in the snow the week before, Winry requested they go outside together which, he really couldn't say no to if he tried anyway ( Read more... )

[After Edward's adventures in the snow he was warmed up and in and out of it for awhile. Now he's awake properly, lying in his bed. It helps that he's a little more lucid now. He sighs softly, rubbing his eyes.]   

[In Naoto's home, Edward is sitting on a kitchen chair in the living room. The TV is on to some documentary, and he's sitting on the chair, backwards.
