[After Edward's adventures in the snow he was warmed up and in and out of it for awhile. Now he's awake properly, lying in his bed. It helps that he's a little more lucid now. He sighs softly, rubbing his eyes.]

[Winry is sitting in a chair nest to Edward's bed, waiting for him to wake up. It is a position she is tired of finding herself in, though she'd never tell Ed that. His life is dangerous and she'd rather have him alive and unconscious than for her to be sitting next to a headstone.
Hearing the sigh, she raises her eyes to the head of the bed.]
Ed? [Her smile is sweet and warm as Winry lays her hand on his chest.]
[A few hours later, Naoto gives a quiet knock at the door. Things had been pretty hectic before, but...
She couldn't put this off any longer. No matter how awkward it felt being in Ed's presence, they needed to talk about the argument they'd had earlier. And she needed to give him a proper apology, as well.]
[Hours were definitely necessary, as Ed was busy with Winry and then he showered and got clean clothes and sheets and was resting again. He'd been napping when she came in but he stirred and blinked at her.]
[Despite taking his leave of Edward earlier, Hohenheim had actually stayed at the estate rather than leaving for Liore right away. Although Edward surely didn't want to see him, Hohenheim couldn't bring himself to leave just yet. He would give the boy his space surely, but...
He'd spent the majority of his time exploring the manor, trying to keep his mind occupied, so that he need not pace endlessly in circles in worry over his son.
Eventually, he can stand it no longer and decides to take a quick peek into Ed's room. Just to make sure he's all right. After that... then he'll ask Naoto to take him back to Liore...]
