[Accidental Video Post - Ed and Winry!]
[In Naoto's home, Edward is sitting on a kitchen chair in the living room. The TV is on to some documentary, and he's sitting on the chair, backwards. He's slouched on his arms until Winry comes in and he sighs and pulls his tank top over his head, dropping it aside, so she can perform a check up while she was at it..]
[Winry smiles.] I know you haven't had a lot of time to take care of your automail, so I'll take care of it for you! [Winry unscrews the cover plate for his forearm, making a noise deep in her throat.] This doesn't look too bad for you being living in the wild as long as you have.
[Ed sighs and shrugs a little.] Actually I've had a lot of time, I just...anyway. It hasn't been that long. [Ed dutifully holds still, holding his arm out for her to examine.]
[Cheerfully ignoring Ed's protests - as usual - Winry unscrews the grill plate on his forearm, removing it. She peers inside, manipulating the arm to check the movement of the fabricated ligaments and to verify the hydraulics were working properly.]
This really isn't necessary Winry. [Ed comments ever so helpfully.]
I am your mechanic. [Winry said tartly.]
Yeah, but its fine. I'd tell you if it wasn't.
[She runs her thumb over the skin next to the port.] This strain isn't fine, Ed. [She says it gently but firmly.]
[Ed turns to look at his shoulder and blinks a little.] Well...that's...[He kind of can't argue with that.]
That's a problem. [Winry hopes she doesn't have to remove Ed's automail to get a good look at it, but if there's an infection....]
[Edward just sighs, leaning forward on the back of the chair.]
