Of course! I've never had any of my own, so I'm very curious about it.

My mom's uh...busy, a lot, and she doesn't like mud or nonsense.

My dad writes, he lets himself get really tired, and he's really not good at cooking like he thinks he is... but he's the bravest person I know.

Oh, but nonsense is wonderful! She should really give it a try!

Fathers sound like incredible things. Are they all brave, or tired, or not good at cooking?

What's wrong? You don't like your family? Is having parents a bad thing after all?

My parents are dead, and the man who adopted me treated me like an object. I'll have nothing to do with them.

I'm awfully sorry. You should really find some new parents! Third time's a charm, right? I think that's how that goes...

It's a shame you have no family here, but family isn't just left up to genetics.

I don't remember my parents, either. I'm proud to be a father though.

Oh, that's true. My brother and I might be related but I'm not really sure. I can't remember.

I'd do anything for my daughter. She's my life.

They're the people who made you, or the people who raised you. Something of that sort anyway. At least, that's what I've heard.

I don't really think my family is a very good example. Actually, I'm not entirely sure it qualifies as a "family" either, but I guess it's close enough.

Why not? What's your family like?

It's kind of complicated. My Father isn't my real father, but he acts more like a father than my Mother acted like a mother.

... Does that make sense?

I think so? So your mother wasn't a mother, and your not!Father was a father? Goodness, this family business can be dreadfully confusing to figure out!
