My parents are dead, and the man who adopted me treated me like an object. I'll have nothing to do with them.

Well, he found me really. He's my little brother. I never had one before that.

To be a sibling, he must either be born into a family or adopted. If you don't even have parents yourself, I can't see how you could truly acquire a brother.

But I never knew my parents, so they could be anyone! If he says he's my brother, I don't really see any reason to doubt it. I certainly can't prove he's not my brother.
