House MD was wounded in 7x15 ("Bomb Shells") and came to an early end in 7x23 ("Moving On"). Today's announcement is but an official acknowledgement of what already happened last season. I'd like to share my thoughts on Lisa Edelstein's recent communications. Her new interview in TV Guide and the new  twitter photo of her on David Shore's lap seem to me to be part of a concerted effort to address her fans regarding the rumors and theories circulating about her leaving House MD.
