My thoughts on Lisa E 's new tweet and interview

I'd like to share my thoughts on Lisa Edelstein's recent communications. Her new interview in TV Guide and the new  twitter photo of her on David Shore's lap seem to me to be part of a concerted effort to address her fans regarding the rumors and theories circulating about her leaving House MD. A few points:
.
1) LE tells us to let go of our anger toward the House MD producers like DS, Katie Jacobs and Greg Yaitanes (TPTB proper, not TPTB in the larger sense, i.e, NBCU/Fox)
.
2) She doesn't deny that a pay cut played a part (rumored to have been 50% compared w season 7)
.
3) LE stresses that she was not fired. This probably means that an agreement on a new contract was not reached and her old contract was over, so technically she was free to leave, no "negative" action from NBCU/Fox
.
4) The way Cuddy's story ended on House MD is lousy which she hates. This is the only possible allusion to writing issues (inconsistencies w. both House & Cuddy's characters, shoddily-executed Huddy plot line)
.
5) She will not be back for even 1 episode. Why? As DS & Co. are friendly w. her, this leaves again NBCU/Fox as the likely culprits
.
6) Is NBCU, the studio, the problem? They initiated the heavy cost-cutting, even in a super-profitable show like House MD. Were certain people there misogynist? (See rumors that Robert Sean Leonard & Omar Epps did not have to take such a huge pay cut)
.
7) Is Fox, the TV network putting House on their schedule, the problem? Fox News is arch conservative and wouldn't have liked LE's political engagement re free choice. The fact that she tweets at the same time as the DS & LE pic about resisting another political attack against Planned Parenthood might not be totally coincidental. Still, Fox Entertainment broadcasts a lot of rather liberal programs so it's hard to see how this would matter all of a sudden: they are first of all concerned w. making money
.
Anyway, LE is telling us to let bygones be bygones: no good will come out of digging further, not for her nor anybody else. If we are sensible fans, we probably should respect her wishes, tempting though it may be to try to find out more. The truth is that we almost certainly will never find out what really happened as the different parties involved all have perfectly good reasons to not want to go there.
.
Cuddy is "dead," long live Celeste on the Good Wife!
