So, Wednesday I found out that I accidentally signed up to be a fairy at the boy's school festival today. I say "accidentally" because I signed up to be an "adult guide" for Fairyland (which is the non-scary haunted house analogue for the littler kids). The boy just corrected himself mid-conversation from using "horrifying" to "horrific." I don't think I've ever considered the distinction, myself. Let us recall that he is ten. Also, as an aside, he's getting braces put on his teeth today, probably.

We finally have both the kids back in school.
