[Over by House 26, a lake has manifested in the back yard, and the forest nearby has warped itself to resemble the Forbidden Forest back at Hogwarts. [There is one potential sign of danger; the giant white shape, moving through the new area of forest.

She's taken a little bit of a liking to the semblance of the Forbidden Forest, at the very least, and is more occupied in investigating it than anyone or anything within it. As she emerges from the trees, however, her eye is first caught by the sight of the stag, then of Harry, at which point she waits for a moment to consider what to do first.]

[The giant white shape is something he doesn't recognize from the Forbidden Forest, and that has him concerned. He sets down his mug and begins walking closer to investigate. Prongs watches the Dementors briefly, but soon follows his caster.]

[Approaching? Not a human that's quite learned that it's prey, then. Moro lets out a long, low warning growl, before stepping out of the trees.]

[Harry holds up his wand defensively and doesn't step any further.]

What do you want?

[Action] Looking at my journal friends list thing for the first time/got pinged by HP |D;

[Nagisa just so happened to be walking by when she noticed something shiny. And by shiny I mean that really bright Patronus that was conjured up. Really, that thing is really bright. But in any case, she hears Harry's words and walks on over. She normally wouldn't do such a thing, especially with those creepy looking dementors floating around. Somehow she feels safe anyway though. She'd also just cheerfully shout but he seemed a bit... tense? frustrated? And she has never met Harry, anyway. So instead she just calmly--and shyly--speaks.]

Is today your birthday?

[Action] That's excellent! :D

[It could be brighter, but Harry's having a tough enough time trying to maintain it. Harry turns to look at her, making sure that: A) She isn't something trying to attack him and B) there's nothing waiting nearby ready to attack her. After that, he nods.]

It is.

[She smiles.] In that case, happy birthday. It's too bad that something like this is happening on your birthday, though.

[Suddenly idea! She digs through a small bag that she's holding and pulls out a shish kabob-looking snack, then holding it out to him. It had three small, round, colored dumplings on a stick.]

I'm not sure if you had these in your world, but these are dangos. They're really tasty, and cute too! I love them very much. Maybe you might as well.

[He smiles a little.] Thanks. It's just another birthday, though. Nothing special.

[He looks at it curiously and takes it.]

Er, thank you. [He holds it closer to get a better look at it.] What's it made of?

[The TARDIS only spares a brief glance at the journal, being too focused on the odds and ends in front of her that will eventually become a sonic screwdriver. Birthdays are important to humans, right? But unfortunately she is so focused on being technical that slang has completely escaped her.]

Bloody birthday? Are you injured? My condolences.

[Because that's what you're supposed to say, right? Humans are so touchy about these things.]

[voice] I saw nothing!

[They can be important to most humans! Harry's had very few that he's enjoyed, however. This is shaping up to be another one of those.]

I'm not too injured. [Yet.] Wouldn't surprise me if it came to it, though. But thank you.

[You'd think that with all of time and space at her disposal, she would get a clue about certain things, but no such luck.]

We have a sickbay if you need it, but I hope you don't. They don't go very well with birthdays.

[It's easy to forget the small stuff.]

With all the stuff that's going on, that room's probably better saved for people who really need to. I can't imagine this experiment is leaving the healers bored. [It'd be just his luck to have to go to sickbay on his birthday, though.]

[She sounds a bit out of breath when she speaks, but she's also fairly concerned.]

Kind of a crappy week for a birthday, huh?

[He's not surprised by her being out of breath, but he's a little curious.]

Pretty much. How are you faring?

I don't think I've done this much running in years. It's like I'm either chasing or being chased. I can't tell which is better.

How about you? Besides the whole bad luck on your birthday thing.

Do you need help over there?

We've had a few annoying problems near home, but nothing we haven't been able to handle so far. [He's hoping that doesn't change.]

[Okay, that earns a wry chuckle.] The Dementors might be half-decent at icing, considering how well they freeze things.
