Since yesterday I did my Rejections post, I never posted about what I did yesterday for CG!

Yesterday was mainly editing Issue 7 content. I sent a couple of edited stories back to their authors for consideration, and we worked on the rest of the editing more today. We still have some to finish up this weekend.

…but due to being short-staffed at work and a pretty busy day in all aspect of life, the post about Rejection letters is postponed until tomorrow.

Today we did a lot of editing of Fiction. Also, we’re going to have an interview in Issue 7; I emailed the interviewee with some small edits to his answers and a follow-up question.

We made our final decisions on Fiction, and have gotten in contact with the writers. Yay! Today I sent out rejection letters to all the other writers who submitted fiction. It’s really late, so the post on Rejections will be tomorrow.

Matt and I also sorted out some more of the new website. Most importantly, we’ve got the subscriptions sorted out! ( Read more... )

Just ten minutes ago, I discovered that it’s remarkably easy to convert our issues into .mobi files - that is, e-books tailored for mobile devices. Who knew? Look for those to be available for download in the near future! Assuming I sort them out, the .mobi files will also be FREE to subscribers, just like the PDFs!

What a day. The release of a new issue makes us kind of giddy. Somehow, we managed to be productive at the same time.
