I'm several songs into Mastodon's Leviathan and I just noticed how incredibly appropriate a soundtrack it is for my paper on Moby-Dick. Clearly I am all here, mentally-speaking.

Life, it goes. I'm home for Thanksgiving break, which I needed in the worst way. I've been so busy lately, and it's taking a toll. So it was nice to wake up very late and sit around reading and watching movies with my family today. Two things:

1. I am in love with the new Sea Wolf album, White Water, White Bloom. It is so gorgeous.
2. I have five pages left to write for a paper due tomorrow, a test to study for, and 7+ pages to write for Tuesday. I want it to be Christmas right now!

Completely unsettled mental state.  It doesn't help that I have slept 8 hours of the last 55.  Problem.
