Fabric dye markers vs. Sharpies

So as I continue with my plushie projects, I am just about to where I need to color one of them to look like a computer with a solid energy body.

sharpies often bleed on fabric, it would be best to test, and then wash the test to see what happens

Thanks. :) Yeah, I could try that, but since the plushie won't be washed, I'm not sure such a test would help me decide what kind of marker to use on it....
