So I'm doing another plushie project and to get the hair halfway right, I used yarn for some of it and unraveled said yarn so it wouldn't look like dreadlocks. But the yarn is highly wavy and this character's hair is straight. Is there any way to straighten the yarn?

... Is there any way to successfully use elastic with a non-stretchy material, aside from exposed elastic? So I'm back to my usual crafting projects of making plushies. My most recent was during the winter. I made the human version of Baxter Stockman from the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.

So I'm planning several more of my plushie projects. For one of them, I'm using some black-coated copper crafting wire to fashion glasses frames, but I don't want the ends to be sharp and end up digging into the cloth. Is there something I can stick on the tips of the wire to round it off and prevent that? It's 16 gauge wire, if that helps any.

Hello, I'm plushie-making again and at one critical part of this project, I need something that I can use to represent many small braids. Of course, yarn is one option for this. So I kind of want one of Build-a-Bear's Ninja Turtles plushies. But one thing that I'm having a hard time getting over is the fact that the shells are removable.
