Well hmf, I was excited but got let down. This year is the 20th anniversary of the release of my all-time favorite film, The Shawshank Redemption. I'd promised to post about my thoughts on iOS 8 after having upgraded my iPhone 5C to it a week or two back. Basically: I like it, and if you've been hesitating to upgrade for any reason, I say go ahead. It's not all that different from iOS 7 cosmetically, so there's no system shock. So the weekend was pretty decent. Still mired in the hot and sticky mess that is the neverending Florida summer, but it's starting to get a little better since the days are getting shorter. So recently I fixed my arcade cabinet. Have I mentioned I have an arcade cabinet? In other news, our tv crapped out last night. Now, we don't watch a whole lot of television, really. Oy. I still need to do a vacation recap post or three, but work was crazy last week, the weekend was busy, and this week looks pretty crazy again, so.. yeah. But I thought a quick weekend recap post was in order, at least. And I'll toss in a few photos because that's what I do.
