The friend I mentioned in the previous post died earlier this evening and I'm absolutely overcome with grief. Not just for the tragedy of a life cut too short but over the pain I know his mother and sister are suffering now. They are family to me. Losing my religion
A friend from high school had brain surgery last week to remove a tumor. I've been following his recovery through his sister's Facebook postings. The level of Jesus freakery makes me really uncomfortable and reminds just how different I am than the people I grew up with in Oklahoma.

I've spent most of my life looking for answers and trying to understand life. Recently, I realized that I'm more interested in questions than answers. Questioning is about considering infinite possibilities and wonder and curiousity. It suits me more than the pursuit of static answers.
